Sanderson Farms Names New Marketing Product Specialist

LAUREL, Miss. – July 19, 2016 – Sanderson Farms recently named Natalie Flynt a Marketing Product Specialist for the Mississippi-headquartered poultry producer. Flynt’s promotion is part of the company’s expansion to marketing functions in an effort to continue to support their growing customer base.

SFM_Natalie_FlyntAs Marketing Product Specialist, Flynt will be responsible for managing activities concerning products produced by Sanderson Farms, as well as coordinating the generation of customer specifications for all Sanderson Farms brand and private label products. She will also work closely with the company’s sales, customer service, purchasing and quality assurance teams to ensure Sanderson Farms’ products and packaging are consistent with customer needs.

Flynt began her career with Sanderson Farms in 2013 as a Recruiting Coordinator. As Recruiting Coordinator, she was responsible for scheduling, communicating and tracking recruiting events such as the Super Chicken Road Show, International Production and Processing Expo and the company’s Summer Internship Program. She also conducted student tours of Sanderson Farms’ processing facilities, as well as monitoring, tracking and communicating the status of applicants for the company’s Corporate Trainee Program.

She is a graduate of Jones County Junior College, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Business. Following graduation, Flynt attended Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing.

A resident of Ellisville, Mississippi, Flynt is a member of the American Heart Association, Laurel Main Street Committee, Jones County Young Professionals and is a recent graduate of the Leadership Jones County Class of 2016. She is an active member of Ellisville First United Methodist Church.
