The Google Assistant
First Time
To open a Sanderson Farms recipe on your Google device, simply say, “Hey Google, Enable Sanderson Farms.” You’ll only have to enable Sanderson Farms before your first use. After that, you can ask for the exact recipe you want.
GETTING STARTED
- “Hey Google, ask Sanderson Farms for the Chicken and Veggie Fajitas recipe.”
- “Hey Google, get me the recipe for Chicken and Veggie Fajitas with Sanderson Farms.”
TIP
If you are browsing recipes on your phone and find one you like, you can send it to Google Home and cook it when you get home. Make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as Google Home and tap “Send to Google Home” when you find the perfect recipe. To start the recipe, say, “Hey Google, start recipe.”
WHILE COOKING
When prepping ingredients, you can get more done with just your voice just by saying the following:
- “Hey Google, what’s the next ingredient?” or“Hey Google, next ingredient”
When working through recipe steps, you can say commands such as the following to help you move through the recipe with ease:
- “Hey Google, next step”
- “Hey Google, previous step
Google Home can even set a timer to remind you when it’s time to check the oven. Just say, “Hey Google, set a timer for 10 minutes.“
TIP
If you find a recipe that the whole family loves, save the recipe and return to it later with Cookbook. All you have to do is say, “Hey Google, save this recipe.” To access the recipe later, just say, “Hey Google, show me my Cookbook.”
