Lemon Pepper Broiled Chicken
With only a handful of ingredients, this simple, yet zesty recipe is always a hit.
Ingredients
4 Sanderson Farms® Chicken Thighs
⅓ to ½ cup fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon red pepper
4 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
lemon slices
Directions
1. Place chicken in a roasting pan and pour lemon juice over the chicken.
2. Season chicken with salt, red pepper and lemon pepper seasoning.
3. Place under the broiler and broil for 10 minutes, turning after the first 5 minutes. The skin should be browned and crisp.
4. Remove chicken from oven, place lemon slices around the chicken and cover with foil. Place chicken back into the oven and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. If using a thermometer, it should read 180°F.
