Air-fried Chicken Karaage
1 lb Sanderson Farms® Boneless, Skinless Thigh Fillets
1/2 cup corn starch
1 tsp five spice powder (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
For Assembly
1 lb air-fried chicken karaage
4 packages 90-second microwave jasmine rice
1 package 5-minute microwave stir fry veggie mix
1 bottle orange, General Tso, or sesame chicken sauce
Scallions, chopped (optional)
Furikake seasoning mix (optional)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Yum yum sauce (optional)
Air-fried Chicken Karaage
- Combine corn starch and seasonings in a zippered baggie. Shake to combine.
- Dice chicken thigh meat 1"x1" and add to the baggie. Shake to fully coat the chicken with the seasoned corn starch.
- Air fry the breaded thigh meat at 400°F for 10–12 minutes or until >165°F internal temperature is reached as measured by a calibrated thermometer.
For Assembly
- Microwave the rice and stir fry mix. Distribute evenly among 4 bowls.
- Top with the air-fried karaage chicken and your choice of sauce.
- For extra flavor punch, use any or all of the optional suggestions as well!
