Sage Chicken Livers

1½ pounds Sanderson Farms® Chicken Livers
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup dry white wine
6-ounces dry linguine, cooked
fresh sage for garnish (optional)
1. In a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. When hot, add livers and sauté until brown.
2. Add onions and continue cooking until onions are transparent.
3. Add sage, salt and black pepper; stir gently.
4. Add wine and reduce heat to low and cook 1 minute.
5. Serve with cooked pasta.
