½ pound smoked sausage, diced

1 cup diced yellow onion

1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes

1 cup low sodium chicken broth

1 teaspoon dried oregano

2 teaspoons Creole seasoning

½ teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup diced green bell pepper, ½"

1 cup uncooked converted long grain rice

Directions

1. Set a 6-quart slow cooker on high. Add chicken, sausage, onion, tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, seasoning, thyme, salt and green bell pepper. Stir. Cover and cook 2 hours.

2. Add rice. Stir. Cover and cook 1 hour.
